School of Science & Technology Micro-credentials

  • Fabrication & Design

The Fabrication & Design microcredential builds competency in skills and tools used during the design, production, and quality control phases of device fabrication. Students develop competency in the engineering design process, and gain skills in microcontroller programming, 3D modeling and printing, and MATLAB scripting for data analysis and visualization. A variety of fabrication offerings provide students with higher-level competency with additional tools, including but not limited to laser cutting and causal analysis.
