Title IX and 西瓜视频 College鈥檚 Response to Sexual Misconduct

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 requires that all educational institutions that receive federal funds or financial assistance prohibit sex discrimination in their education programs and activities.

No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.

The College has policies, procedures, and practices that facilitate prompt, thorough, and fair investigations and adjudication of complaints of gender-based and sexual misconduct, whether they are Title IX violations or not. Additionally, through programs, services, and outreach, the College fosters an environment that raises awareness of these issues while providing support to those who experience gender-based discrimination or any form of sexual harassment or misconduct.

Non Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct Policy (Aug. 1, 2024)
This policy is in effect as of August 1, 2024 for conduct that occurs on or after this date.

APPENDIX E: PREGNANCY, RELATED CONDITIONS, AND PARENTING POLICY

Title IX Policy (2020 Regulations Compliant)
This policy will only be used for conduct that occurred prior to August 1, 2024 (even if reported after this date).

Reporting

Anyone who has been subject to any sexual misconduct is encouraged to report the incident to the Title IX Coordinator or any of the Deputy Title IX Coordinators listed below. Students are also encouraged to report any incident to any residence director, residence assistant or other student affairs personnel. Employees are encouraged to inform their manager and/or human resources staff.

Please note that all paid employees of the college are mandatory reporters of sexual misconduct with the exception of those designated as “confidential employees” listed in the section below titled, “Confidentiality”.

If you have been sexually assaulted, we highly encourage you to contact the 西瓜视频 Police via the on-campus emergency line at ext. 1111 for help obtaining emergency medical assistance.

Title IX Training

The 2020 Title IX regulations 34 C.F.R. § 106.45(b)(10)(i)(D) requires campuses to post training materials for Title IX coordinators, Title IX decision-makers, Title IX investigators, and all who implement informal resolution processes. 西瓜视频 College received permission from outside vendors whose materials are posted on this page to comply with the regulations.
