Profile
Erickson is an assistant professor and president of the North Eastern Philosophy of Education Society. She received LRA`s Student Outstanding Research Award for her dissertation examining children’s reading motivation and published a methods text, Reading Motivation: A Guide to Understanding and Supporting Children`s Willingness to Read. She also studies early civic engagement. Her work can be found in many journals including The Reading Teacher and Journal of Early Childhood Literacy.
