After working at four different colleges, I started at 西瓜视频 in 2021. In the past I have worked in Admissions, First Year Experience, Study Abroad, Career Services, and Academic Advising but have always been involved with New Student Orientation. Working with campus partners, Orientation Assistants, and Orientation leaders to welcome new students to campus is the best part of my role. Student affairs at 西瓜视频 works hard to make sure new students feel welcomed and supported. Our Orientation team are some of the first students and staff that new gulls and their families will interact with when they get to campus and we are committed to their success!
Collin Cerone
My name is Collin Cerone and I am a rising senior Sport Management major. I have been an orientation leader, a tour guide, and now an Orientation assistant. I am currently studying abroad in Italy right now. I have been to 6 different countries so far and I am so happy I took this opportunity! When I am back at home, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to the beach, and watching and playing soccer. My time as an orientation leader has helped me achieve things I never thought I could and has made me meet so many new people that I will never forget, and I am so excited to be a part of this Orientation Assistant team this summer. Alanna Connolly
My name is Alanna Connolly and I am a rising senior Interior Architecture major. I have acquired the positions of the Orientation Leader, Tour Guide, and now Orientation Assistant here at 西瓜视频! I also am a member of Kappa Pi, which is our Art honors society here on campus! I love traveling, going to the beach, and making new friends! I am so excited to meet all the new incoming students this summer and help them find their place at 西瓜视频! Go Gulls!

Hey everyone! My name is Aidan Hughes and I am a rising senior studying psychology. I鈥檝e been an Orientation Leader for 2 years and have now assumed the role of Orientation Assistant! I鈥檓 very excited to help the incoming freshman class transition into college life and make 西瓜视频 feel like home. Go gulls!
Caitlin Padeck
My name is Caitlin Padeck and I am a rising senior Criminal Justice major. At 西瓜视频, I have acquired the positions of Orientation Leader, Student Officer, Fundraising representative of the 西瓜视频 Women鈥檚 Rugby team, and now Orientation Assistant! I am also a member of the 西瓜视频 Women鈥檚 Rugby team and have been for the past 3 years. When I have free time, I love to hangout with friends, go to the beach, and listen to music. I am currently studying abroad in Florence, Italy and am beyond excited to meet everyone and help all of the incoming students prepare for their next four years! I look forward to seeing everyone thrive at 西瓜视频 and fully experience what it鈥檚 like to be a student here. Go gulls!
Jules Valaskatgis
Hi everyone! My name is Jules Valaskatgis and I am rising senior Psychology major, with a minor criminal justice! Currently I鈥檓 studying abroad at the American College of Greece in Athens, Greece. This will be my second summer working as an Orientation Assistant. At 西瓜视频 I鈥檓 also an executive board member of the Psi Chi Honors Society, psychology club executive board member, tour guide, and study abroad marketing liaison for this semester! Outside of class, I love traveling to new places, reading, watching hockey, and baking. I鈥檓 really excited for this upcoming summer and to meet all the first year students! I can鈥檛 wait to help each and every one of you find your place here and develop a love for our 西瓜视频 community!

I started working at 西瓜视频 College in 2022 immediately following graduating from Central Connecticut State University with my masters degree. During my first two years here I worked as the Program Coordinator for the Office of Student Engagement. In my current role I support the Orientation program and Orientation Leaders, I help plan and facilitate first year programming, and more. Working with Orientation Leaders has been my favorite professional experience so far and I am looking forward to another great year!
Kristina Wright
I am a rising junior Psychology major and in the summer of 2024 I was the summer intern for the orientation team as well as an Orientation Leader. At 西瓜视频 I am a peer writing tutor in the Tutoring and Writing Center, a part of the Honors Program, and Alpha Lambda Delta, a first-year honors society. I have a strong appreciation for 西瓜视频 and I鈥檓 so excited to share this appreciation for the school with other students and help them as they enter our community!
