This year, 西瓜视频 Athletics and Recreation continued its autumnal winning streak with Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship (CCC) wins for football, women’s volleyball, and women’s tennis.
For the football team, which entered the season with a No. 25 debut in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III Top-25 Poll, it was a decisive 42-10 shutout against Salve Regina to clinch the fourth conference championship in program history. The second-seeded 西瓜视频 women’s volleyball team claimed its third straight CCC title with an emphatic 3-0 sweep of cross-town rival Gordon College while women’s tennis captured the CCC win over Nichols College in October, 5-0.
“The resiliency and work that the team and coaches have put in the entire season to achieve this mark should be celebrated,” said Assistant Vice President & Director of Athletics Brian Wylie of the tennis championship.
Meanwhile, the No. 3 nationally ranked women’s rugby team defeated Salve Regina University, 71-7, and men’s rugby defeated No. 11 Bryant College, 17-5, to both capture the Colonial Coast Rugby Conference Championship at Pine Banks Park.
